Electronics & Communication Engineering deals with the electronic devices, circuits, communication equipments like transmitter, receiver, integrated circuits (IC). It also deals with basic electronics, analog and digital transmission & reception of data, voice and video (Example AM, FM, DTH), microprocessors, satellite communication, microwave engineering, antennae and wave progression. It aims to deepen the knowledge and skills of the students on the basic concepts and theories that will equip them in their professional work involving analysis, systems implementation, operation, production, and maintenance of the various applications in the field of Electronics and Communications Engineering.

Lab-1 Basic Electronic and Analog Circuits Lab

About Lab:

This laboratory is intended for performing laboratory exercises and the mini projects for subjects like Basics of Electronics Engineering, Electronic Devices & Circuits and Electronic Circuits of the first year and second year diploma students. The students perform experiments of basic as well as advanced analog electronics in this Laboratory. The students use discrete components to build the circuits on bread-board and test it with the available equipments.

About Lab:

This laboratory is intended for performing laboratory exercises for subjects like Industrial Electronics. Facilities at the industrial Electronics Laboratories are geared towards the design, modelling and testing of electronic devices. Depending on their power range, these devices can be classified as power electronics or Industrial electronics.

Lab-3 Digital Electronics and Micro Processor Microcontroller Lab

About lab:

The experiments of various subjects related to digital electronics are conducted in this laboratory. Stress is laid for the students to perform experiments using discrete components on bread-boards. It also has various test equipments and trainer kits.

The Laboratory has been developed to provide hardware and software training in the field of micro-processor and microcontroller. The hardware consists of 8085 and 8086 training kits and 8051 micro-controller training kits.

Lab 4 VLSI And Embedded System Lab

About Lab:

A state of art VLSI and HDL laboratory has been setup for providing training in the area of VLSI design. The laboratory has 40 computers and software packages of ALTERA's QUARTUS II. It has hardware kits including a Universal trainer Kit, CPLD and FPGA trainer kits for testing the designed system.This laboratory is intended for performing laboratory exercises for subjects like Digital Electronics, Microprocessor & Microcontrollers. It is equipped with High-end PC installed with latest software required for simulation.

VLSI Design Lab in Electronics Engineering Department contains the well-established research facility in the field of VLSI design both in analog and digital domain. To support the tools, the hardware infrastructure is well established with more then 20 computers of higher end configuration.

About Lab:

This laboratory is intended for performing laboratory exercises and the mini projects   nd study purpose of network lines and electronics measuring instruments.   The Study of network ,filters and transmission lines leads to understanding of line communication, principles of AC theory,  introduces the students to parameters and characteristics of various networks including filters. This lab is also use how to use different measuring instruments like Briges, Theromocouple, Thermistor,  CRO ,and Oscillators. The students use discrete components to build the circuits on bread-board and test it with the available equipments.

The students study microwave instruments and also consumer appliances like microwave oven ,Public address system, different loud speaker and microphone.
