Greetings! On behalf of the faculty members, staff, and students of the Department of Computer Engineering of Bhagwan Mahavir College of Polytechnic at Surat, I welcome you all to the creative world of Computer Engineering. I believe that the Computer Engineering discipline has been widely recognized as an essential source and technique for the advancements in all spheres of human endeavour now and in future. In our college all the students gets the opportunity to excel in their academic activities.
The aim of the department is to provide innovative and high quality education along with training the students with all the new advancements in the computers field. We do not aim to make our students walking manuals of any language or package. Instead, they are given a strong foundation in computer engineering and problem-solving techniques, and are made adaptable to changes.
The Department with qualified and experienced team of faculty dedicates to strengthen effective teaching learning process in the ambiance of conductive environment well supported and stuffed with curricular and co-curricular activities and regularly invites eminent experts from industries and other academic institutes to help our students to attain expertise so that they are ready to undertake challenges in their profession. The Department is wide open to innovative ideas, methodologies to establish itself as the most sought excellent learning center in this part of the state. The department also takes initiative to improve the soft skills, analytical capabilities and verbal communication of the students so that they can face the competition in the corporate world confidently.
The scope of computer engineering is endless. The students of the computer engineering are highly demanded by the recruiters of the top companies. The department provides platform for the students to achieve their career goals.

Our Computer Department has well maintained Software Laboratroties powered by IBALL and TECHCOM systems of latest configuration and 24 hours internet facility. Computer labs are equipped with 121 Computer Systems of latest configuration. Internet and laboratory facilities are available for staff and students. All the Labs of the department are well equipped with 20 systems each interconnected via LAN.
